厚朴麻黄汤对哮喘小鼠血清IgE、IL-4、IL-13及半胱氨酰白三烯水平的影响
Effects of Houpu Mahuang Decoction on serum levels of IgE , IL-4 , IL-13 and cysteinyl leukotrienes in asthmatic mice

Abstract
Aim: To observe the effects of Houpu Mahuang Decoction on asthmatic mice′s lung pathological changes and serum IgE, IL-4, IL-13, cysteinyl leukotrienes (CysLTs) levels.Methods: A total of 60 mice were allocated into control group,model group,western medicine group ,low dose Chinese medicine group ,middle dose Chinese medicine group ,and high dose Chinese medicine group .The mice model of asthma was prepared .The mice in Chinese medicine groups were given Houpu Mahuang Decoction at high , middle and low doses(16, 32, 64 g/kg), and those in western medicine group was given dexamethasone solution (0.3 mg/kg).The pathological changes of the lung tissue of the mice were observed .The serum IgE, IL-4, IL-13 and CysLTs levels were determined by ELISA .Results: The pathological changes of lung tissue of mice in 3 Chinese medicine groups improved in different degrees .Compared with the model group , serum IgE, IL-4, IL-13 and CysLTs levels of the Chinese medicine groups significantly decreased (P<0.05).Compared with the western medicine group , the a-bove indexes of the low and middle Chinese medicine groups significantly increased ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusion: Houpu Mahuang Decoction could alleviate the pathological changes in lung tissue of asthmatic mice , reduce serum IgE, IL-4, IL-13 and CysLTs, inhibit inflammatory cytokine production , thereby reducing the airway inflammation.关键词
