Abstract
The calcium carbonate hollow microspheres with vaterite and calcite polymorph were synthesized by the complex decomposition method of aqueous solutions Na2CO3 and CaCl2in the presence of poly(acrylic acid)(PAA)and sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDS). The morphology,structure and polymorph of the products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and the formation mechanism of calcium carbonate hollow microspheres was discussed in detail through the study of the dynamic change of the structure and polymorph of calcium carbonate microspheres with time in the reaction process. The effects of reaction temperature,PAA and SDS concentration on the crystallization and growth of calcium carbonate were also investigated. The results showed that PAA and SDS could affect the aggregation behavior and morphology of calcium carbonate in the reaction process. Then it put forward a rarely reported formation mechanism of the hollow microspheres. Under the conditions of reaction temperature of 80℃,PAA concentration of 0.5g/L,SDS concentration of 10mmol/L and reaction time of 1h,calcium carbonate hollow microspheres with calcite and vaterite compound polymorph and particle diameters in the range of 4~7μm could be obtained.关键词
