摘要

Abstract

Gene HGO encodes 1,2-homogentisate dioxygenase, which functions in Tyr degradation pathway.In order to further investigate the expression characteristics of the HGO gene in rice, we constructed rice gene HGO promoter and GUS recombinant expression vector, and transformed this expression vector into Arabidopsis thaliana to obtain transgenic plants by using Agrobacterium-mediated floral dip method.By histochemical GUS staining, we found that the rice HGO gene promoter was highly expressed in the root, hypocotyl, petiole and cotyledon of A.thaliana, but it was lowly expressed in the euphylla vein and euphylla apex of A.thaliana.
