Relationship between YKL-40 levels and coronary artery disease
摘要
Abstract
YKL-40 (human cartilage glycoprotein-39), a new inflammatory biomarker, has recently been found that it is tied with atherosclerosis, and elevates in acute and stable coronary arterydisease (CAD). Moreover, YKL-40 is also associated with adverse cardiac events. Therefore, YKL-40 may be a new potential biomarker to predict CAD severity and prognosis. This review will present published literature about YKL-40 as a biomarker in coronary artery disease.关键词
