Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical features and therapy methods of mandibular third molar impaction with adjacent oral lichen planus ( OLP) .Methods:Totally 17 patients with clinically confirmed OLP were randomly removing one side of the mandibular third molars .Meanwhile,the RAE scoring system was utilized to compare the signs and symptoms of OLP after 1 and 3 months.Results:With 1 and 3 months follow-up,the effectiveness rate were 100% both in the removing group and control group,and there was statistically significant difference between the two groups ,respectively(P<0.05). Conclusion:The effective method of dealing with the mandibular third molar impaction with adjacent OLP is to remove the mandibular third molar .关键词
