Impact of Topology on the Propagation of Cascading Failure in Complex Communication Networks
摘要
Abstract
Considering dynamic change of load flow and the effect of local congestion status on routing in real large ̄scale communication networks,a cascading failure model with tunable pa ̄rameters is introduced. Cascading behaviors in homogeneous ER ( Erd?s ̄Rényi ) random and heterogeneous BA(Barabási ̄Albert) scale ̄free networks subject to intentional attacks on node are compared,and the effect of packet generation rate,routing parameter and size of different topological networks on the failure propagation is investigated.According to the critical packet generation rate which is a new measure to the robustness of a network,it is found through simu ̄lation that topological structure can make important influence on the optimal value of the rou ̄ting parameter and the effect of the attacks on different network sizes.关键词
