摘要

Abstract

The cost of chemicals and increasing concern with environmental pollution demand more sophisticated spraying-machines which are able to spray the liquid as uniformly as possible.In order to ensure the application effect and avoid spray boom scratching crops in the work process,spray boom and plant canopy need to be maintained approximately parallel and proper distance.An online control system of spray boom height was designed.The system adopts ultrasonic distance measuring sensor and angle sensor.The ultrasonic sensors detect the height from ground to spray boom and the controller calculates the direction and speed of hydraulic cylinders by comparing the set spray boom height with the actual spray boom height which was detected by ultrasonic sensors and the angle sensor is used to control the tilt angle of the spray boom.Then the controller sends out control signals of hydraulic cylinders to adjust spray boom height.The structure of boom sprayer and the composition and working principle of spray boom height hydraulic system were described The online control system of spray boom height was tested by ground test and field test.
