Abstract
Objective To explore the application of sports pyramid in the health education for the patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 62 patients with type 2 diabetes in Taizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine hospitalized from December 2013 to April 2014 were chosen. They were randomly and equally divided into the intervention group and control group. The control group was given the conventional diabetes care,and the intervention group was given additional sports guidance by illustration of sports pyramid pictures. The patients ' exercise adherence,fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin at three months post-intervention were compared between thetwogroups.Results Except one case of dropout,other 61 cases went to the end of study.The intervention group had better exercise adherence,fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobinthanthecontrolgroup(P<0.05).Conclusion Sports pyramid can effectively improvethe patients'exercise adherence and blood glucose control.关键词
