摘要

Abstract

Al-Fe alloy is a novel aluminum alloy of prospective application whose optimized processing requires a comprehensive research upon the phase transition involved in depth.In this work,previous results on factors affecting the formation of intermetallic phases in the alloys are reviewed from multiple perspectives.The formation of intermetallics depends on both thermodynamic factors and kinetic factors.So far the theoretical models on these aspects are based on assumption of equilibrium transition,whereas the interaction between thermodynamic and kinetic factorsis largely ignored.Based on these comments,brief proposals are made for further research in this field in the future.
