Abstract
A chirped fiber Bragg grating(FBG)-based concrete abrasion monitoring method is put forward herein,of which the working principle is that the length of the fiber grating can be shortened simultaneously along with the occurrence of concrete abrasion,and then lead the bandwidth of the reflected light spectrum to be narrowed accordingly,thus obtain the depth of the concrete abrasion from the calculation in accordance with the relevant theory of fiber Bragg grating.Simultaneously,a simple algorithm for calculating the depth of the concrete abrasion is described and the testing accuracy of the sensor is verified through the comparative test concerned as well.The test result shows that the measured accuracy of this method can reach to the level of submillimeter for the result of the abrasion measuring on a single point,thus it can be applied to the real-time monitoring of the surface abrasion status of hydraulic structure.关键词
