Abstract
Objective:To probe into the influence of the core self-evaluation of nurses on job burnout and to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction.Methods:A total of 397 nurses in two general hospitals in Xi'an were investigated by using core self-rating scale,job satisfaction scale and job burnout scale.Results:The scores of job satisfaction of married nurses(15.65 ± 5.51) was significantly higher than that of unmarried nurses(11.07 ±5.21) (P<0.05).The married nurse's total score of burnout(66.69±9.68) was significantly lower than that of unmarried nurse(70.53±711.83),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Marriage was an important factor influencing the job burnout of nurses.Core self evaluation was positively correlated with job satisfaction(r=0.42,P<0.01),negatively correlated with job burnout (r=-0.30,P<0.01).Job burnout was negatively correlated with job satisfaction(r=-0.51,P<0.01).The job satisfaction could be mediated by the core self-evaluation of the impact of job burnout.Conclusions:As a positive personality trait,core self-evaluation could reduce nurses' job burnout.Job satisfaction could partially mediate the effect.关键词
