Abstract
Objective:To probe into the correlation between personality traits,job satisfaction and subjective well-being of nurses and to probe into the mediating role of job satisfaction in nurses'personality trarts and subjec-tive well- being.Methods:A total of 296 nurses were investigated by using the Chinese version of Eysenck Per-sonality Questionnaire(EPQ-RSC),McCloskey/Mueller Satisfaction Scale(MMSS)and General Well-Being Schedule(GWB)in a third grade A hospital of Dalian.Results:The MMSS score of nurses was 3.36±0.45,there was a significant difference compared with the lowest index score(3.03 points)of job satisfaction(P<0.01). The GWB score of nurses was 78.70±7.44.The marital status,the nature of work,education and professional title were the influencing factors of MMSS score and GWB score(P<0.01).Nurse's personality neuroticism and psychoticism dimensions were negatively correlated with subjective well- being(P<0.05),introversion and extroversion were positively correlated with subjective well-being(P<0.05),nurses'job satisfaction were pos-itively correlated with subjective well-being(P<0.05).In the mediating effect test,the nurses'job satisfaction was the intermediate variable of neuroticism,introversion and extroversion and subjective well-being,the inter-mediary rate was 17.1% and 9.5%.Conclusions:Job satisfaction played a partial mediating role in personality and subj ective well-being of nurses.关键词
