摘要
Abstract
Objective:To systematically review the correlation between PTEN expression and prostate cancer in Chinese population. Methods:All the studies regarding the correlation between PTEN expression and prostate cancer in Chinese population were collected from the databases, including PubMed,Embase,CBM,CNKI,VIP and Wanfang etc.Meta-analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software, and the risk of bias was assessed according to the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale(NOS).Results:A total of 26 studies were included, involving 1025 patients with prostate cancer,461 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia cases, and 37 controls. The results of meta-analysis showed that the prostate cancer group had a lower PTEN expression level compared with the benign prostatic hyperplasia group [OR=0.03,95% CI(0.02,0.05),P<0.01] and the control group[OR=0.03,95%CI(0.01,0.11),P<0.01].Moreover,the expression level of PTEN was lower in the low and medium differentiation group than that in the high differentiation group [OR =0.20,95 % CI(0.15,0.27),P<0.01].The expression of PTEN was significantly lower in the C+D staget than that in the A+B stage in JWP staging of prostate cancer [OR =0.11,95 % CI (0.08,0.16),P < 0.01],and the expression was significantly lower in the prostate cancer with metastasis than without metastasis [OR=0.10,95 %CI(0.05,0.19),P<0.01].Conclusions:Current evidence indicates that the expression level of PTEN is significantly correlated with prostate cancer and its clinic pathologic features in Chinese population.Due to sample size and quality of included studies, the conclusion needs more large-scale,high quality and multi-center studies to be validated.关键词
