Influence of Working Parameters of a New Filter on Filtration Performance
摘要
Abstract
The new continuous filtration device developed at the early stage of this research was used to evaluate the influ-ence of filter material gradation,working parameters of sand backwashing system,inlet flow rate and different filtering methods on the filtration characteristics.The anti-particle size distribution in the filter bed and the outlet water quality were investigated as well.The results show that different filter material gradation values had great effects on the outlet water qual-ity and anti-particle size distribution could enhance the particle interception capacity of the filter bed.When the renewing rate of the filter layer reached 6.25 mm/min,the outlet water quality was improved.The combination of continuous filtration and intermittent backwashing filtration can be optimized.After an intermittent backwashing cycle,the filter bed was clean and the consumption rate of backwashing water decreased to 5%,.关键词
