Abstract
The effect of a phosphate ester flame retardant agent,resorcinol bis(2,6-dimethyl phenyl)phosphate(RXP),on PC/ABS blend was investigated in this research.The effects of this flame retardant and 1,2-Bis(2,3,4,5,6-pentabromophenyl)ethane(DBDPE)/ antimony trioxide(Sb2O3)compound flame retardant on flame retardant properties, mechanical and thermal properties,and the morphology of PC/ABS blends were compared.The results showed that the flame retardant agent of bromine antimony can be substituted by the environmental friendly flame retardant RXP in PC/ABS blend,as it is a more effective flame retardant with better mechanical properties.关键词
