摘要

Abstract

The noble metal of Ru and non-noble metal of Ni have a good catalytic activity and stability in CO x hydrogenation and hydrocarbon reforming reactions. However, due to the high cost, the large-scale production and application of Ru are limited. Little amount of Ru introduced into the Ni catalysts can promote the dispersion of metal Ni, decrease Ni crystal size, reduce the reduction temperature of NiO and improve the activity of catalysts. At the same time, the synergy effects between Ni and Ru also inhibits the sintering of Ni crystals and improve the stability of the catalyst. In this paper, the advance in research on the bimetallic Ni-Ru catalysts used in several catalytic reactions, including COx hydrogenation for methanation and reforming of hydrocarbons and alcohols for hydrogen generation, is reviewed.
