Abstract
For the impact of ground to tightly coupled array (TCA) impedance bandwidth,a multilayer resistive frequency selective surface (FSS) is introduced into TCA.By loading a 3-layer resistance FSS between antenna array and ground plane,the antenna short-circuit point can be effectively suppressed,and the impedance matching bandwidth increases significantly.Finally,a more than 30∶1 impedance matching bandwidth is obtained,and the radiation characteristic is stable in the 45°scanning range.But due to the loss of resistive FSS,the gain of the antenna array is reduced.This TCA has characteristics of broad bandwidth,low profile and easily conformal installation,which can be applied to small ultra-wideband phased array antenna system.关键词
