Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with chronic periodontitis (CP) on lipid and glucose metabolism as well as liraglutide with insulin aspart 30.Methods Retrospective analysis was made on the data on 182 patients with T2DM in our hospital,and they were divided into group A (T2DM,n=102) and group B (T2DM combined with CP,n=80) according to the recurrence of CP.The fasting blood glucose (FPG),2-h postprandial glucose (2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc),triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were compared between the two groups.And then,group B was divided further into two groups:group B1 received the treatment with insulin aspart 30(n=37);group B2 received the treatment with liraglutide combined with insulin aspart 30 (n=43).The FPG,2hPG,HbAlc,TG,TC,HDL-C,and LDL-C before and after the treatment as well as the adverse reactions between groups B 1 and B2 were compared.Results The FPG,2hPG,HbAlc,TG,TC,and LDL-C in group B were all higher than those in group A (P < 0.05).Before the treatment,the glucose and lipid metabolism indexes showed no statistically significant difference between groups B1 and B2 (P > 0.05);after the treatment,the FPG,2hPG,HbAlc,TG,TC,and LDL-C in group B2 were lower than those in the same group before the treatment and those in group B1 after the treatment (P< 0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in group B1 was 24.3% and that in group B2 was 27.9%,showing no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion The presence of CP can lead to the disorder of blood glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with T2DM,so the treatment of CP should be emphasized.Intervention by use of combined application of liraglutide and aspart 30 to T2DM patients with CP can reduce the blood glucose and lipid index greater,and has better effects.关键词
