The Apotheosis of Assassins' Skills in the Martial Arts in Tang Dynasty——From the Failure of Assassination Attempt on Emperor Qin Conducted by Jingke
摘要
Abstract
Due to the failure of assassination attempt on Emperor Qin which was conducted by Jingke,special attention was paid to the skills of assassins by the audient,which reflected that the audient expected a successful and thorough assassination.This kind of description for the apotheosis of assassination ability in the Martial Arts in Tang Dynasty won the psychological support from the audient.Such theme at that time was mainly reflected through the following aspects: supernatural feats,eccentric in behaviors,and the assassins mysteriously appearing and disappearing.The common skills used by the assassins then were airmanship,magic,swordsmanship,ruining the corpse and so on.Meanwhile,the trend for the description of the apotheosis for the magical Kongfu in the Martial Arts in Tang Dynasty was also influenced by other factors like social background and religions thoughts.关键词
