摘要

Abstract

Recently, liquid crystal (LC) with its promising electro-optical characteristics arouses the interest in many non-display applications, such as the wavefront corrector in adaptive optics, atmospheric turbulence simulator, and optical steering as a optical phased array.In these applications, the key LC parameters include its response time, phase stroke and dispersion.In the paper, we focus on these key parameters and report the advancement of theoretical calculation algorithms in LC optimal parameters design, driving improvement and LC dispersion description.And these are valuable and helpful to improve the LC device design and estimate their electro-optical properties.
