摘要
Abstract
The opening of pressure vessel will destroy the continuity of the structure.The nozzle and shell connection structure area will become the weakest area due to the local stress concentration as well as the external pipe loads.In this paper,the nozzle is subjected to pipe loads and other equipment weight.So,the bracket structure is considered in order to reduce the local stress concentration of nozzle and shell connection structure.However,it is difficult to consider the bracket played the role of the nozzle stress level by conventional method.Therefore,by using APDL tool in ANSYS,finite element models for cylindrical pressure vessel with nozzle supported by bracket structure were established,and the strength of these structures were analyzed under the actions of internal pressure,external pipe loads and other equipment weight based on the criteria specified in JB 4732-1995.The structure was improved so that strength criteria can be fulfilled,which can be used as the reference for such structure in later engineering design.关键词
