摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of self-made airway humidifying device on artificial airway self-breathing patients in terms of their spontaneous breathing symptoms, sputum viscosity, White Blood Cell count (WBC) and Procalcitonin (PCT), Arterial Oxygen Partial Pressure (PO2) and Carbon Dioxide Partial Pressure (PCO2). Methods 40 patients with artificial airway were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group and the control group. The control group used EM06-003L starlight oxygen atomization device, while the treatment group used self-made airway humidifying device. Sterile water was used for injection for airway humidification on both two groups. A total of 2 weeks of treatment were recorded about their clinical symptoms, sputum viscosity, WBC, PO2 and PCO2 count and PCT. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference (P>0.05) between the two groups in their general information, sputum viscosity, WBC count, PCT, PO2, PCO2, etc; after treatment, the clinical symptoms, sputum viscosity, WBC count and PCT were improved in both groups, and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). The PO2 of the control group was decreased, and the PCO2 increased; the PO2 of the treatment group was increased and the PCO2 decreased, and the effect was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The self-made airway humidifying device for the artificial airway self-breathing patients can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, sputum viscosity, WBC count and PCT, and can also improve the oxygenation and avoid the occurrence of CO2 retention.关键词
