重庆高校分类发展与结构调整实证研究
An Empirical Study of Chongqing Universities’Classification Development and Structural Adjustment
摘要
Abstract
The cluster analysis was applied to classify the universities in Chongqing from three dimen-sions. And it can be divided into two categories (academic type,application type),4 sub-categories (aca-demic,industry / professional,newly founded applied universities and technology colleges),4 levels (doc-tors,masters,undergraduate and specialist),to construct the classification system of Chongqing universi-ties. Research shows that Chongqing universities have the following outstanding features:new application-oriented institutions share a high proportion;the old universities focused on the industry or profession;the doctorate or master’s granting units occupied the low percentage;the doctoral students of municipal colleges and universities occupied a lower proportion;the structure of academic disciplines,key disciplines distribu-ted quite unreasonable,and it is urgent to enhance the level of discipline in the municipal colleges and uni-versities. In terms of those problems,some countermeasures were put forward,such as the promotion of structural readjustment,establishing of key criteria of various development of characteristics of universities, increasing the structural adjustment,slight adjusting of higher education structure,strengthening the con-struction of key disciplines of municipal universities and developing postgraduate degree education and so on.关键词
