Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and safety using CO2 fractional laser and steroids for treating hyperplastic scar. Methods A total of eleven subjects with atrophic hyperplastic scar were treated by Acupulse fractional laser with the following laser parameters: Deep modality, Energy 20mJ, Indensity 5%. Immediately after laser treatment, betamethasone injection was added to the treated area for 2 hours. One month later, the second treatment was performed. One month after the second treatment, the subjected were followed up to assess the clinical effect and adverse reaction.Results All hyperplastic scar were improved in all 11 subjects. No serious adverse side effects happened.Conclusion Combined use of CO2 fractional laser and steroids is a safe, effective and valuable strategy for treating hyperplastic scar.关键词
