Osteogenetic Effects of Collagen Scaffold Material from Basa Fish (Pangasisushaniltoa) Skin on GBR of Rabbit Skull Defect
摘要
Abstract
Objective To research the effects of collagen scaffold material from Basa fish skin on the repair of the rabbit skull defects. Methods Acycloid skull defect with the diameter of 8mm was made on both sides of the sagittal suture of 12 rabbits.The rabbits were randomly divided in to 3 groups.The skull defects were treated with implantation of Bio-Oss,collagen scaffold material from Basa fish skin+Bio-Oss, Bio-Gide+Bio-Oss, respectively. After 8 and 12 weeks,6 rabbits were sacrificed respectively and the bone samples were examined by HE staining. Results Collagen scaffold material from Basa fish skin could play a role as barrier membrane in guiding and promoting osteogenesis in rabbit skull defects. There was no significant difference between group B and group C in promoting osteogenesis at 8 week after treatment(P>0.05) but both more than group A(P<0.05).At 12 week, group B is better than group A(P<0.05)and worse than group C. Conclusion Collagen scaffold material from Basa fish skin can promote osteogenesis in bone defect.关键词
