Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the leading cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in the worldwide.Recently,with the increasing incidence of diabetes in China,prevalence of DN has also growth rapidly.Moreover,the proportion of ESRD patients caused by DN did not significantly decreased in the past twenty years,suggesting that the prevention and treatment of DN was still a challenge for public health.In this issue,we invited nephrologists and diabetologists to highlight the current advances from different aspects,including disease risk factors,diagnosis and prognosis,prevention and treatment,genetics studies,pathologic classification,and molecular biomarker researches.关键词
