摘要
Abstract
Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and it is characterized by chronic inflammation in the mucosa of colon and rectum. The treatment of UC is more focused on medical treatment. However,surgical therapy is also an important mean of treatment. Total proctocolectomy and ileal pouch-anal anastomosis(IPAA)is the preferred operation for most patients with UC who require surgery. Mastering the surgical strategies and techniques may help increase the success rate of surgery, reduce complications and improve the prognosis of patients and their quality of life.关键词
