热敏灸对过敏性鼻炎大鼠血清IgE、IL-4含量的影响
Effects of heat-sensitive moxibustion on serum IgE and IL-4 content in rat with allergic rhinitis

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion on serum IgE and IL-4 levels in rats with allergic rhinitis. Methods Fifty Wistar male rats were randomly divided into 5 groups with 10 rats in each group, i.e. normal group, model group, Cetirizine group, moxibustion group and heat- sensitive moxibustion group. The rat model of allergic rhinitis was established by egg-albumin systemic sensitization combined with local attacks. The symptoms in different groups were observed and the scores were calculated. The serum IgE and IL-4 levels were determined by ELISA. Results Compared with the normal group the symptom scores of the model group were significantly high ( P< 0.05). The symptom scores of the treatment groups were significantly lower than those of the model group ( P< 0.05). There were no significant differences in the symptom scores between the heat-sensitive moxibustion group and the Cetirizine group (P > 0.05). The Cetirizine group and the heat-sensitive moxibustion group were better than the moxibustion group ( P< 0.05). Compared with the normal group, the levels of IgE and IL-4 in the model group were significantly increased ( P< 0.05); however, the heat-sensitive moxibustion evidently decreased the levels of IgE and IL-4 (P < 0.05). Conclusions Heat-sensitive moxibustion can reduce the serum content of IgE and IL-4 in AR rat, and reduce allergic inflammation of nasal mucosa.关键词
