摘要

Abstract

Objective:Through wireless radio frequency identification (RFID) technology combined with digital video technology and real-time wireless transmission technology, to establish scientific RFID hospital child patient management system.Methods: Designed RFID wristbands for children and their mothers (one-to-one matched between child and mother); installed long distance card readers in activity space and corridors for gathering children’s information, and the information would be automatically uploaded to the application software management system for data processing; installed positioning devices in children wards for identification their activities range.Results: The system avoided the mistakes, repetition or omission at the samples collection and results matched stage, reduced the error rate and provided a good medical diagnosis and treatment service.Conclusion: RFID management system could facilitate family visits, maintenance of the hospital's working order and child safety. At the same time, it could improve the working efficiency, and further promote refined management of hospital.
