Abstract
Objective To explore the effectiveness of pharmacists participating in prophylactic use of antibiotics for orthopedic patients undergoing type Ⅰ incision surgery. Methods Clinical pharmacists were involved in the management of on prophylactic use of antibiotics for orthopedic patients undergoing type Ⅰ incision surgery. The effect was evaluated by comparing of the choice of drug selection, delivery timing, and duration time before and after intervention ( first and second stage of intervention ) . Results Compared with pre-intervention, usage rate of antibiotics dropped from 84. 74% to 28. 27%, AUD declined from 89. 58 to 29. 65DDDs. Conclusion Through the above measures, the prophylactic use of antibiotics for orthopedic patients undergoing type I incision surgery is improved greatly.关键词
