Abstract
Objective To analyze the cause of liver injury induced by Polygonum and provide reference for clinical rational drug use to reduce the incidence of serious adverse events. Methods The cases of liver damage related to preparations and decoction pieces of Polygonum in the hospital from 2014 to 2015 were collected. The characteristics?and causes of liver injury produced Polygonum were analyzed by combing with the information of liver injury induced by Polygonum in CNKI. Results 204 cases were collected in the hos-pital and CNKI. The reason of liver damage had little relationship with gender, age, family history. Most patients were overdosed, and 201 patients were improved and discharged, 1 case had unknown outcome, 2 died after treatment. Conclusion The liver injury caused by Polygonum may be related to the anthraquinone compounds and tannins contained in the patients. The dose and duration are also related to the liver injury. Thus, we should stick to rational drug use and monitor the liver function index.关键词
