A Review of the History of Otology
摘要
Abstract
The otology has a long history, in that many schools, masters came forth in large numbers. Dr. Politzer was honored the father of modern otology. Dr. Wulllstein etc. laid the foundation for the development of microsurgery of the ear. Dr. House was the pioneer of modern skull base surgery. Dr. Fisch established the system of lateral skull base surgery. The invention of the binocular surgical microscope (OPMI 1) has changed the history of otology, and the inven-tion of CT and MRI has greatly contributed to the development of skull base microsurgery.关键词
