Abstract
Ossiculoplasty is indicated for ossicular chain interruption, while stapedioplasty is for otosclerosis. In ossiculoplasty, House and Fisch had their own criteria in the use of prosthetic ossicles and autologous incus. In sta-pedioplasty, House and Fisch performed differently in anesthesia, the external ear canal incision, the external audito-ry canal flap, exposure of tympanic cavity, stapes footplate window opening, and the footplate window size, etc.关键词
