Temporal Bone Resection and Subtotal Petrosectomy:House versus Fisch Techniques
摘要
Abstract
Temporal bone resection is mainly used in the temporal bone malignancy. Subtotal petrosectomy is mainly used for benign temporal bone tumors. There are similarities between these two surgical procedures. However, they differ from each other with different criteria in the selection of subjects, whether or not the parotid gland is re-moved, whether or not the neck dissection is performed, whether or not the mandibular joint capsule is resected, and whether or not the facial nerve is preserved.关键词
