Translabyrinthine and Transotic Approaches:House versus Fisch Techniques
摘要
Abstract
Both the translabyrinthine and transotic approaches are used for acoustic neuroma resection. The trans-labyrinthine approach was frequently used by Dr. House, while Dr. Fisch preferred the transotic approach. Each ap-proach has its own advantages. It is generally believed that the transotic approach is an improved version of the translab-yrinthine approach, which enlarges the scope of the surgical approach and reduces the incidence of complications such as facial nerve injury and cerebrospinal fluid leakage.关键词
