Middle Cranial Fossa Approach:House versus Fisch Techniques
摘要
Abstract
The middle cranial fossa approach frequently used by Dr. House and the transtemporal supralabyrin-thine approach preferably used by Dr. Fisch can be used for acoustic neuroma resection with hearing preservation. How-ever these two approaches differs in many ways, including the size of the bone window on the squamous portion of the temporal bone, the degree of dura elevation in the middle cranial fossa, whether the middle meningeal artery is used as a landmark, how to locate the internal auditory canal, and the sequence of cutting off the bone in skull base.关键词
