Abstract
Objective To evaluate the application of preoperative neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) for the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients undergoing radical resection.Methods The clinical data of 64 patients who underwent radical resection for pancreatic cancer were analyzed retrospectively.The patients were divided into high and low NLR groups according to the cut-off value of NLR based on receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC).The clinic pathological data and one-year survival rate were compared between two groups.Results According to ROC analysis 3.06 was chosen as cut-off value.Univariate analysis revealed that age,clinical stage and NLR level were associated with survival of patients.Multivariate analysis showed that the high NLR value was independent prognostic factor (P＜0.05).The 1 year survival rate of higher NLR group and lower NLR group was 66.2％and 77.5％,respectively (P＜0.05).Conclusion A high preoperative NLR is a risk factor for poorer prognosis of pancreatic cancer patient after radical resection.关键词
