摘要

Abstract

Dense Ti-6Al-4V (TC4) was prepared by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) of TC4 powders,microstructure,density and hardness of sintered samples were measured.The results show that the TC4 powder was sintered by SPS to obtain a fine and uniform microstructure.With the increase of sintering temperatures,a microstructural change from equiaxed to widmanststten structures was observed to occur.The vickers hardness changes slightly with the increase of temperatures,with a typical value of 511 (HV100g),which is ~ 140% of the value observed in the forged samples.This was attributed to the fine and uniformly distributed microstructrures formed by the SPS technique.
