Development and prospect on formula-based syndrome differentiation
摘要
Abstract
A TCM term of formula-based syndrome differentiation, which originated from Treatise on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases, is a method of syndrome differentiation for TCM clinical diagnosis and treatment.The medical practitioners of later generations have been studying it in its long history.This paper tried to study the origin and development of the method, based on its thought origin, on the difference between formula-based syndrome differentiation and formula-related syndrome, and on its superiority with the other eight syndrome differentiation methods.Undoubtedly, formula-based syndrome differentiation is different from formula-related syndrome, and it is the most direct method of TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, combined syndrome differentiation with treatment.Formula-based syndrome differentiation is the correspondence of formula-syndrome with disease-syndrome, emphasizing the importance of primary symptoms.As a new academic thought, formula-based syndrome differentiation shows very high value in use in clinical practice and deserves further studying.关键词
