Abstract
When oil-water bubbles in lower speed passing though the annular space of a co-axial array capacitance water cut sensor,it will increase and decrease the thickness of detention layer covering on the inner electrode.According to this mechanism and some assumption,a new theoretical model of detection water cut is established,it shows the complex log relationships between the output signal frequency and water cut of a co-axial array capacitance water cut sensor,sometime,it is related with the fluid flow,viscosity,temperature,material of the isolation layer on inner electrode and conformation of the capacitor.The performance experiment of a co-axial array capacitance water cut sensor and the calculation by model under experimental condition shows that in the case of the water cut beyond 50%,the absolute error is negligible and the standard error is 1.4%.It shows that the increase or decrease of the oil detention layer thickness on inner electrode obeys the exponent rule,and the water cut model founded is more practicable in high water cut.关键词
