摘要

Abstract

With the wide application of HVDC,HVDC transmission line protection is becoming more and more important.In this paper,a DC transmission line based electric transient protection method is proposed by using the impedence effect of the boundary components consisting of the smoothing reactor and DC filter on the highfrequency signals and mutation characteristics of the fault current.This method uses the based information,does not depend on the communication and would action more quickly.The simulation results show that protection can operate correctly in all situations,and have the ability of great resistance to transition resistance.
