摘要

Abstract

4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone(BPS) was used as a novel additive for LiNi0.sMn1.5O4 (LNMO) cathode of high voltage lithium ion battery.Mixed BPS and LNMO through magnetic stirring,formed BPS@LNMO compound.SEM and mapping show that BPS disperses in LNMO uniformly.XRD spectra indicates that the crystal structure of the composite is unchanged.Charge-discharge tests show that the capacity and cyclicstability of LNMO is significantly improved by using BPS,3% BPS@LNMO exhibits excellent cycle stability to reach 133 mAh/g at 0.2 C,1% BPS@LNMO maintains the capacity retention of 93.1% after 50 cycle at 0.5 C,compared to the 82.2% of that pure LNMO.
