Study on inconsistency of lithium titanate battery in rail transportation

Abstract
One-year shelved LTO battery cells and modules were studied.Parameters such as initial voltage,remaining capacity,internal resistance were tested on the battery cells and modules with different state of charge (SOC).Voltage and internal resistance distributions were derived from the test results.Incremental capacity (IC) analysis method was used in order to study the performance change of the batteries at floating state and then to investigate the influence of inconsistency to the lifetime and performance of auxiliary batteries which operate at long-term floating charge state.Finally,according to the voltage distribution of the battery pack and combining open circuit voltage (OCV)-SOC characteristic curve,the optimized floating charge voltage was determined,which provided reliable evidence for making charging/discharging control strategy for LTO batteries in rail transportation field.关键词
