Research Progress on Compensatory Growth in Animals
摘要
Abstract
Compensatory growth is widely used in specific feeding stages of animals such as herbivores,poultry and pigs,which can improve the protein deposition rate and the feed utilization ratio,promote hormone secretion,and enhance the enzymatic activity.In this review,the effects of the compensatory growth on animals and its limiting factors were elaborated,and the status and prospect of application of compensatory growth in animal production were discussed.关键词
