摘要

Abstract

Strong motion records are of great significance for the earthquake disaster prevention and earthquake emergency in our country. Results and suggestions are as follows: (1 Preliminary definition of related concepts on strong motion records quality is presented, including the quality of strong motion records and recording process; (2 Such abnormal phenomena as incomplete waveform, low SNR, singular waveform (non symmetry, baseline offset and obvious acceleration spikes etc.) in strong motion records are summarized; (3 Eight measures are put forward to improving the quality of strong motion records in order to ensure records integrity, consistency, accuracy and timeliness.
