摘要

Abstract

Researches on the basis of the framework of Collaboratory for the Study of Earthquake Predictability (CSEP) and the Operational Earthquake Forecasting (OEF) lead to a significant development for earthquake forecasting in recent years.On the foundation of these results, a concept of model based on the combination of different time-varying models, called hybrid model, was proposed and has been developed rapidly in New Zealand, Italy and other areas.Because of the obvious advantages of the hybrid model compared with the single forecasting model in many cases, its development trend and the operational tactics may provide a technical reference for the long-term development of the earthquake prediction in China.
