A seismic network of shared scientific observatories across Africa

Abstract
The Africa Array has three founding partners, the University of the Witwatersrand, the Council for Geoscience (CGS), and the Pennsylvania State University.Benefits for partners with corporation have benn achieved.It is a comprehensive program by government and academic organizations, through strategic and specialized programming that involves geoscience training,observatories and network build and upgrade, scientific research.This program has achieved high level of achievement in geophysical research, including installing, upgrading, and operating seismic observational stations and networks.It provides a training opportunities for students, and helps to archive and distribute seismic data for the public.关键词
