Temporal and spatial relation between the metallotectonic series and metallogenic series in the Dachang orefield, Guangxi

Abstract

Structural analysis reveals three metallogenic systems in Dachang orefield,including Hercynian effusive-sedimentary metallogenic system(HMS),Indosinian layer-sliping and shearing metallogenic system (IMS) and Yanshannian magmatic metallogenic system(YMS).No.91 and No.92 layered orebodies are of polygenetic compound,which are controlled by three metallogenic systems.While No.75,No.77,No.79 and No.80 layered orebodies are controlled by the IMS,as well as No.100 karstic orebody.Studies show that the YMS consists of three subsystems from early to late period,including the partial positive flower metallotectonic subsystem controls the veinlet orebodies.The partial negative flower extensional metallotectonic subsystem which controls the large vein orebodies.The last subsystem associated with passive emplacement,layer-sliding and shearing of the rock mass,controls No.94,No.95,No.96 layered zinc-copper orebodies and skam type copper-zinc orebodies.This paper holds that the Nandan-Hechi metallogenetic belt exists in three metallogenic series,which are Hercynian effusive-sedimentary metallogenic series,Indosinian layer-sliping and shearing metallogenic series and Yanshannian magmatic metallogenic series,respectively.The paper discussed the temporal and spatial relation between the metallogenic series and metallotectonic series,and analyzed the genetic relationship between the orebody morphology and structural style based on the orebody morphology in the Dachang orefield.Accordingly,Indosinian metallogenetic idea can not only supply and enrich the regional metallogenetic and prospecting theory,but also be of significance to learn about scientific problems of the Paleotethys metallogenetic domain,such as metallogenic features,tectonic process and tectonic boundary.
