摘要

Abstract

To determine the depth,density,seismic velocity and quality factor values of a buried soft layer resulting from reclamation at an engineering site,an approach was developed by simulating the seismic ground motion at the engineering site,with the constraint of observation seismic data.The theory and the algorithm for the approach were given.A numerical experiment could demonstrate the application of the method.In the experiment only the quality factor is difficult to determine precisely,other parameters,such as the layer depth,density,shear wave velocity and quality factor values estimated for the buried,were in good agreement with the target model.
