Preparation of Cu2O/Bi2WO6/GR photocatalyst and its hydrogen production performance

Abstract
Bi2WO6 and Cu2O photocatalysts were prepared by hydrothermal method and chemical precipitation method,respectively.The Cu2O/Bi2WO6/GR photocatalyst was prepared by mixed Cu2O/Bi2WO6 with GR.The Cu2O/Bi2WO6/GR photocatalyst was characterized by XRD.The propionic acid was selected as sacrificial agent in the experiment.Effects of mole ratio of Cu2O to Bi2WO6 in Cu2O/Bi2WO6,GR doping amount and propionic acid concentration on photocatalytic H2 production activity were studied.The experimental results showed that the optimum n(Bi2WO6)∶n(Cu2O) was 1∶ 1.3.The optimal graphene doping amount was 7%.The best hydrogen production performance for propionic acid was 4 mL in the reaction system (430 mL).The results of this study provide a theoretical guidance for use of organic acid in wastewater to generate hydrogen gas.关键词
